We are an exclusive Rocky Mountain Horse facility. We have been involved with this wonderful breed of horse for more than 20 years. We are dedicated to raising top quality Rockies that are a true representative of the breed standard. We are dedicated to the preservation of the Rocky Mountain Horse. We not only enjoy the classic colors but are also very interested in color genetics and have added a few unique colors to our herd. We have between 10-16 Rockies at any given time with all ages available for sale. We believe in taking our time with each horse and advancing in their training when they are ready, not when we are. There is no reason to rush a horse to get them under saddle. When you proceed at the horses speed you will have a very happy, healthy and trusting horse. We keep all horses up to date on vaccinations, worming, tooth and foot care. We also feed Purina Strategy feed and quality hay. We closely monitor each horse to maintain them at their ideal weight and fitness level. We have dedicated our lives to these extraordinary horses. We are Lifetime Members of the Rocky Mountain Horse Association and RMH Examiners. We are members of The Illinois Horseman's Council and on the Board of the Mississippi Valley RMH Club. We stand a magnificent true black stallion: Venture’s Black Majic, who is an excellent example of the breed. We have proudly owned Majic for over 17 years and continue to be amazed at his true natural gait, gentleness and willingness to please. We breed our own mares to Majic to and he is also available for breeding to outside approved RMH mares. We have taken a lot of time researching bloodlines and choosing mares for Majic and are very pleased with what he has produced over the years. You are welcome to come out and meet our Rockies! On September 13th, 2010 we lost the most amazing horse that you could ever meet. Majic is the true definition of a Rocky Mountain Horse, from his perfect conformation and natural gait to his temperament and gentle kind ways. His offspring will carry on his unique traits and quality that he is know for all over the world. Majic has blessed us in so many ways, he was the one that started our farm and from then on he continued to amaze us and others. Our entire philosophy and the way we do things were because of him and we are so greatful for the impact he has had on our lives and he will continue to do so forever! We both said many years ago that we will do the best we can to produce quality over quanity. I feel that we acomplished more than that! We love you Majic! |
